Hybridise, Grow & Discover Procedural VR Plantlife

Seed

Seed is a virtual reality game where players can discover, grow and engineer procedural plant life in a playful sandbox.

Players enter a workshop influenced by the ‘garage biotech’ movement from the early 1900s where they are able to use a variety of tools to not only grow seeds and harvest plants, but also create their own varieties. In the game, players are tasked to create plants-to-order to meet mission objectives, whilst also experimenting and exploring through the breeding of procedural plantlife.

Seed was the winner of Developing Beyond, a $500,000 year-long games development competition by Epic Games and Wellcome in which teams create new games IP using Epic’s Unreal Engine. Seed is currently in development.
